 Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing also known as EMDR is a form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. EMDR therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and used to resolve many issues and challenges. EMDR  is an empirically supported treatment for acute and chronic post-traumatic stress disorder.

Building a family though adoption and foster care is both rewarding and challenging, especially when faced with a troubled child.  Many foster and adoptive parents struggle following placement with personal feelings of failure or lack resources when faced with obstacles. As an adoptive mother, I am aware of the changes you may encounter before, during or years following placement. I am here to take this journey along the side of you as you and your family overcome obstacles.

The NADA Protocol is a non-verbal approach to

healing. It is a standardized ear acupuncture and acupressure treatment that involves the gentle

placement of up to 5 needles or seeds & beads into specific sites on each ear.
